Arrive at the meeting point and get set up with your gear before heading onto the river. There is a fifteen minute on-land safety orientation before getting on the water. Once you launch, settle into an easy pace and take in the city as the light changes and buildings begin to glow. Your guide shares fun stories about Chicago’s past while pointing out iconic architecture and historic landmarks lining the riverbanks, giving you context for what you’re seeing as the skyline shifts from daytime detail to twilight silhouettes.

As the paddle continues, pause for photos and take in the reflections on the water as the city brightens around you.
