Run the famous 100-mile section through Cataract Canyon on a special whitewater rafting boat. Travel into the heart of Canyonlands National Park.
Join this tour to experience the world-famous 100-mile section of the Colorado River that passes through Canyonlands National Park and through 30 world-class rapids.
Watch for wildlife as you take in the canyon vistas along the easy stretches of the river. Rafting the Colorado River on a RHIB means there is time for swimming, hiking and relaxing in the shade. Canyonlands National Park is an outstanding wilderness setting, offering great opportunities for taking photos.
Enjoy a picnic lunch on the banks of the river. Downstream we pass the Confluence of the Green River and Colorado River, and enter the much-anticipated whitewater section. The special whitewater RHIB (rigid hull inflatable boat) will provide you with a fun and stable ride. These small and competent crafts navigate the thrilling whitewater of the North Seas, Hell-to-Pay, and Big Drop rapids.
After hitting the rapids, a 30-mile run across Lake Powell brings you to the end of our trip. You will leave the water at Hite Marina. Return to Moab by ground transportation included in the price.

• The entire tour lasts approximately 14 hours. The rafting portion lasts approximately 10 hours and it takes approximately 3 hours for the return drive to Moab
• All boats are equipped with a waterproof bag for dry storage
• All participants must sign a waiver form
• This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If the minimum number isn't met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund
• Rain jacket and wetsuit might be required on some trips, especially in the spring and fall
• Cataract Canyon is one of the most exciting and iconic one-day river trips in the United States. During the months of May and June, snowmelt from the Rocky Mountains makes for a day of super-charged whitewater action. Water levels become more moderate during the summer and fall months, but the whitewater is still impressive. The maneuverability of the RHIB guarantees you will have an incredible experience no matter what the flow
