From Martvili, continue to Prometheus Cave and step into a completely different world beneath the surface. As you walk through the cave, your guide will share stories about its geological formation and the natural forces that shaped this remarkable landscape.

Next, travel to Tskaltubo, a former Soviet-era spa destination famous for its grand sanatoriums and distinctive architecture. Discover a lesser-known side of Georgian history as you see the remains of the town’s former resort era. Explore an accessible sanatorium area, admire its old halls and architectural details, and hear stories about Tskaltubo’s rise as a prestigious spa town and its transformation after the Soviet period. This stop adds a unique historical and architectural dimension to the journey.

Access to individual sanatorium buildings depends on local conditions, safety requirements, and whether a particular location is open on the day of the tour. Some buildings may be viewed from outside only.

Continue to Kutaisi for a relaxed walking experience through the heart of the city. See the Colchis Fountain, cross the White Bridge, and wander through historic streets while your guide introduces you to Kutaisi’s culture, traditions, architecture, and everyday life. Instead of simply stopping for photographs, take time to experience the atmosphere of this lively Georgian city.

You will also have free time in Kutaisi for photographs or to enjoy a coffee or local snack at your own expense before beginning the journey back to Tbilisi.
