Join me for a memorable shore excursion from Katakolo that combines history, authentic Greek hospitality, and local traditions in one carefully planned experience designed especially for cruise passengers.

I'll welcome you at Katakolo Port, or, if I'm unavailable, another licensed guide from our team will greet you and accompany you throughout the guided visit to Ancient Olympia. Travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle with complimentary Wi-Fi and bottled water as we drive through the beautiful countryside to one of Greece's most important archaeological sites.

Together we'll explore Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, where you'll discover the temples, the ancient stadium, and the Archaeological Museum with its remarkable sculptures and treasures. Throughout the visit, you'll learn about the stories, myths, and history that shaped the ancient Olympic tradition.

After exploring Olympia, we'll continue to our family-owned olive grove, where you'll discover how extra virgin olive oil is produced and enjoy a tasting of olive oil from our own estate while learning about one of Greece's oldest agricultural traditions.

The experience continues at our family restaurant with a hands-on Greek cooking class. Using fresh local ingredients and olive oil from our grove, you'll prepare traditional recipes before sitting down to enjoy the meal you've helped create in a warm family atmosphere.

Before returning to Katakolo Port, you'll have free time to explore Olympia village for shopping or a coffee, followed by a relaxing stop at Saint Andrew's Beach. Finally, we'll return you comfortably to the port with plenty of time before your ship's departure.
