Dome option:
If you select the option including Dome access, begin your visit inside the Basilica. Afterwards, take the elevator to the terrace and climb 320 steps to the top. From the summit of the Dome, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over the city of Rome and parts of Vatican City.
Please note: Dome access is optional and not suitable for wheelchair users or baby strollers.
Dress code:
clothing must be appropriate for the sacred place. Long pants for men and women, skirts below the knee or pants. Shoulders covered for all.
