Begin your experience with a sake tasting session. Taste the same sake using three different cups and discover how the flavor, aroma, and mouthfeel change depending on the vessel. Learn how shape and material affect flavor and get an introduction to Japanese sake culture.
Next, create your own pottery, making this a deeper and more meaningful cultural experience. Choose what to create, such as a traditional Japanese sake cup or matcha bowl. Create 1–2 pieces using a hand-building stand, shape and finish your work, and choose your glaze color.
