Beschrijving

Explore the vast desert wilderness of Wadi Rum on a guided tour from Petra. Enjoy a thrilling jeep ride, see ancient rock drawings, and get dropped off at the Wadi Rum Visitor Center or Amman.
Meet your guide at the Petra Visitor Center and head further south to Wadi Rum. Explore the desert on a 2-hour jeep ride and discover why T.E. Lawrence described it as “vast, echoing, and god-like” and why locals call it the “Valley of the Moon.”

Admire the dramatic desert wilderness, a protected area covering 720 square kilometers. See huge mountains of sandstone and granite emerging from wide sandy valleys, reaching heights of 1,700 meters and more.

Explore narrow canyons and fissures cut deep into the mountains, many of which conceal ancient rock drawings etched by the peoples of the desert over millennia.

See the large goat-hair tents of the Bedouin tribes who still live among the mountains of Rum. After the tour, get dropped off at the Wadi Rum Visitor Center or back in Amman.
