A short 2-day trek from Kathmandu to Tupi Danda via Chhimdi, offering scenic drives, peaceful trails, and breathtaking Himalayan sunrise views.
Day 1: Drive to Chhimdi & Trek to Tupi Danda (Approx. 5–6 hrs drive + 4–5 hrs trek)
Our guide pick you up with your name card from your hotel and your adventure begins early in the morning with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Chhimdi by local sharing bus or private vehicle. The journey takes around 5–6 hours, passing through beautiful countryside, terraced fields, and traditional villages.
Upon arrival at Chhimdi, you’ll take a short break before starting your trek toward Tupi Danda. The trail gradually ascends through peaceful forests, rural settlements, and open hillsides, offering a true off-the-beaten-path experience. Along the way, you’ll enjoy fresh mountain air and occasional glimpses of surrounding peaks.
After 4–5 hours of trekking, you reach Tupi Danda, a quiet hilltop known for its panoramic views and untouched natural beauty. In the evening, relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings with a stunning sunset (weather permitting).
Overnight stay at a guest house
Day 2: Sunrise View, Trek Back & Drive to Kathmandu (Approx. 4–5 hrs trek + 5–6 hrs drive)
Wake up early in the morning to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas. From Tupi Danda, you can enjoy spectacular views of mountain ranges such as Langtang, Jugal Himal, Dorje Lakpa, and more, glowing in golden morning light.
After enjoying the view and taking photos, return to your lodge for breakfast. Then begin your descent back to Chhimdi, retracing the scenic trail through forests and villages.
Upon reaching Chhimdi, you’ll board your vehicle and drive back to Kathmandu, arriving in the evening with wonderful memories of this short yet rewarding trek.
