Embark on a 12-day trek around Mount Manaslu, the world's 8th-highest peak. Cross the challenging Larkya La Pass, explore remote Himalayan villages, and experience Tibetan Buddhist culture.
Begin your adventure with a drive from Kathmandu to Machha Khola, passing through the Trishuli and Budhi Gandaki valleys. Enjoy views of green hills, terraced farmland, waterfalls, and rural villages along the way.
On day 2, trek through subtropical forests, river valleys, suspension bridges, waterfalls, and villages. Reach Jagat, an important entrance point to the Manaslu Conservation Area.
Continue your trek through Sirdibas, Philim, and beautiful forested valleys. Watch as the landscape changes from subtropical vegetation to pine and bamboo forests.
On day 4, trek through spectacular gorges, waterfalls, forests, and traditional villages. Climb to Namrung, where Himalayan views begin to become increasingly impressive.
Trek through Tibetan-influenced villages such as Lihi and Sho. Lho is famous for traditional stone houses, Buddhist culture, monasteries, prayer flags, and magnificent views of Manaslu and surrounding peaks.
On day 6, trek through alpine forests and beautiful mountain villages, including Shyala. Samagaon offers outstanding views of Mount Manaslu, Himalchuli, Ngadi Chuli, and other Himalayan peaks.
Enjoy a rest and acclimatization day before ascending higher. Explore Birendra Lake, Pungyen Gompa, or hike toward Manaslu Base Camp depending on fitness, weather, and trail conditions.
Trek to Samdo, where the landscape becomes increasingly alpine and arid, with glacial valleys, rocky slopes, high pastures, and strong Tibetan cultural influence.
On day 9, trek to Dharamshala, also known as Larkya Phedi. This is the final overnight stop before crossing Larkya La Pass.
This is the most challenging and rewarding day. Cross Larkya La Pass before descending to Bhimtang. The pass offers magnificent views of Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Kang Guru, Annapurna II, and the Manaslu range.
Trek through pine, oak, and rhododendron forests, waterfalls, and mountain valleys. The trail descends to Dharapani.
On the final day, drive back to Kathmandu, passing through Besisahar, the Marsyangdi Valley, and the scenic hill highways.
