Begin with a pickup from your hotel in Kathmandu and head to the rural regions located south of the Nepalese capital. Make your first stop in the small village of Bungamati, located in the heart of the Lalitpur Valley.
Learn about the main customs and traditions of the Bungamati community. Within its monumental area, the temple of Machhindranath stands out. Stop in front of its façade to contemplate its large pearly dome, a symbol of this area of Nepal.
