Nxt Museum exhibits sixlarge-scale installations featuring a group of new media artists and programmes focussed on music, movement, performance and education.
The exhibition 'Still Processing', on view from February 7 until October 5, examines the evolution of image processing – both through machine algorithms and human perception. How do we perceive and create images? How do machine algorithms influence our perception? What gets lost in the process? Featuring works by seven visionary artists, ‘Still Processing’ invites visitors to explore spaces where machines meet human perception: From 3D-rendered environments and AI-generated projections to large-scale kinetic installations combining moving light and sound.
The exhibition’s artists create sensory experiences that blur the boundaries between the real and the imagined. We invite visitors to explore colours beyond human vision and how sound shapes space.
