Meet your driver/guide in Auckland and board your luxury coach to Rotorua. First, stop at Te Puia and join a 90-minute guided walk through the geothermal valley. Visit the Pōhutu Geyser, the Kiwi Conservation Centre, and the New Zealand Māori Arts and Crafts Institute.

Along the way, hear about Māori traditions, heritage, and ancestral stories, offering unique insights into the rich culture. Enjoy lunch at Te Puia with delicious kai set against a backdrop of geysers and stunning valley views at Pātaka Kai Restaurant.

After lunch, head to Skyline Rotorua for a bit of adrenaline fun with a return gondola ride and three luge rides. Start your adventure with a scenic gondola ride to the top of Mt Ngongotaha, taking in spectacular panoramic views across Lake Rotorua, Mokoia Island, and the city below.

Then, get your adrenaline pumping on the world-famous luge. A unique mix of go-kart and toboggan, the luge puts you in the driver’s seat as you twist and turn your way through the lush redwood forest on one of five thrilling tracks: Tiki Tour, Gravity, Legend, Ultra, and Twister.

With 7.3 kilometers of tracks to explore and incredible views of Lake Rotorua along the way, you have complete control of your speed and direction using the unique steering and braking system. With tracks to suit all ages and abilities, the Skyline Gondola and Luge is a great way to experience some of Rotorua’s best views while adding a little adventure to your day.

After your adrenaline filled rides, your coach will pick you up and your driver/guide will take you back to Auckland, returning in the evening.
