In Delft, you walk past centuries-old facades and canals, the leaning Old Church and the Prinsenhof, where William of Orange was assassinated in 1584, and hear about Vermeer, Delft Blue and the New Church, final resting place of the House of Orange.
Rotterdam rose from the ashes of World War II and looks nothing like Delft or Gouda. After lunch, you see the Markthal, the White House and St. Lawrence Church, the church that survived the bombing, and step inside one of the Cube Houses.
In Gouda, you explore the market square with its Gothic town hall and St. John's Church, and end the day in De Waag, the old weighing house, with a tasting of Gouda cheese paired with a local Gouda beer. A visit inside St. John's Church can be arranged on request.
You can start in Delft or in Gouda. Pick-up and drop-off from a location of your choice, including Amsterdam, can be added. You set the pace: want to spend longer somewhere? Just let your guide know.
