Get hands-on in Utrecht and design your own scented candles during a creative candle-making workshop led by a knowledgeable instructor. You’ll work with rapeseed wax, a more sustainable option that can burn up to 80% longer than paraffin, and learn what makes a candle burn cleanly and evenly.
After a short introduction, explore the basics of the craft: different wax types, how wicks work, and the key steps that influence scent throw and burn time. Then it’s time to create. Choose your preferred fragrances and decorative elements, select your containers (a range is included in the standard price), and pour your candles with guidance throughout.
Each participant makes 2 candles to take home (one large and one small). While your creations set, enjoy a relaxed break with coffee, tea, water, and a light snack included. This workshop is a great fit for friends’ outings, couples, families, bachelorette parties, and anyone looking for a calm, crafty activity in the city.
