Paddle across Lake Titicaca and reach the Uros floating islands before the tourist boats. Small group, double kayaks, real visit to a family.
Paddle across Lake Titicaca and reach the floating islands of Uros under your own power. From a private harbor on Esteves Island, your bilingual tour guide gives a safety briefing before you set off in double kayaks to the Titicaca National Reserve. For 90 minutes, you'll paddle through protected wetlands known for their birdlife, with the Andes on the horizon and no engine noise around you.

You arrive at the Uros community, and your tour guide explains how they build and maintain their floating reed islands. A family welcomes you into their home to show you their daily life up close. You have free time to explore the island at your own pace and sail between islands in a traditional totora boat before returning to Puno by road.

Pick-up from your hotel in Puno at 7:00 AM, kayaking departure at 8:00 AM, and hotel drop-off at noon.
