Explore a 100% organic farm in El Nido! Taste fresh fruits, meet animals, and try traditional farming with a carabao. A fun, hands-on experience rooted in sustainability and tradition.
Step into the lush, green heart of Sibaltan, El Nido, and explore El Trinidad Organic Farm, a 13.5-acre family-run sanctuary preserving generations of Filipino farming traditions. Inherited by Eliezl from her parents, who taught her the ancient ways of cultivating the land, the farm thrives without chemical fertilizers - using natural compost made from plants, animal bones, and fish to grow vibrant fruits and vegetables.
Walk among coconut, banana, cashew, and chili trees, meet goats, pigs, rabbits, chickens, and the carabao, and try traditional farming challenges like ploughing a field or balancing a water pole. After Typhoon Odette and the Covid-19 pandemic, the farm became a vital source of food for the community, and today your visit supports sustainable farming and local livelihoods. Eliezl's farm is a story of resilience, culture, and care for the land.
After taking the reins in 2018, Eliezl expanded the plantation and developed new sustainable techniques, making the farm more resilient than ever - even after the devastation of Typhoon Odette. During the Covid-19 pandemic, it became her family’s main source of food. Today, it stands strong as a symbol of self-sufficiency and environmental care.
What to Expect on the Tour:
- Begin your journey with an introduction to our organic farming methods.
- Taste the farm's freshest treats: coconut water, bananas, cashews, chili, and more all harvested straight from the land.
- Wander through our various zones, from medicinal plants and worm composting areas to our buzzing pollinator zone.
- Meet our friendly farm animals - goats, pigs, rabbits, chickens… and even our carabao (water buffalo) who helps plow the land the traditional way.
Take part in two fun, hands-on challenges:
- Try ploughing the field with the carabao.
