West Algarve Coastal Tour: Lagos to Sagres

Explore the Algarve on a day trip from Lagos. Visit Praia da Luz, Burgau, Salema, Sagres, and Cabo de São Vicente.
Begin in the village of Praia da Luz. Walk the beachfront promenade and viewpoints. Visit Rocha Negra viewpoint (lava cliffs with panoramic views). Enjoy an optional quick coffee before heading west.

Explore the huge sea-fort on the cliffs. Walk the perimeter trail (spectacular coastal views). See the wind compass (rosa dos ventos), walls, and ocean cliffs.

Finally, head to Cabo de São Vicente (Cape St. Vincent), the southwestern tip of Portugal. Admire the dramatic cliffs, lighthouse, and epic Atlantic views. Enjoy the strong winds and panoramic scenery.
