Day 1: Kairouan and Tozeur
Begin your adventure with a pickup from your location and drive towards southern Tunisia. Stop in Kairouan to visit the Great Mosque and the historic Medina. Continue your journey to Tozeur, where you'll spend the night.
Day 2: Mountain Oases, Star Wars, and Chott el Jerid
Visit the mountain oases of Chebika and Tamerza. Continue by 4×4 Jeep to the Star Wars filming locations around Ong Jemel/Mos Espa. Return towards Tozeur and continue across Chott el Jerid, Tunisia’s famous salt lake. Stop in Douz, the gateway to the Sahara, before continuing to Ksar Ghilane. Spend the night in a desert camp or lodge.
Day 3: Berber Villages and Matmata
Leave Ksar Ghilane and head towards the Berber villages of southern Tunisia. Visit Chenini, one of the most spectacular Berber mountain villages. Continue to Ksar Hedada, famous for its traditional ghorfas and Star Wars connection. Visit Ksar El Ferch and Toujane, a beautiful Berber village built into the mountains. Continue to Matmata, where you'll spend the night.
Day 4: Matmata and El Jem
Visit the Star Wars filming locations in Matmata. Discover traditional Berber underground houses and learn about local life. Continue towards El Jem and visit the spectacular Roman Amphitheatre. Finally, continue to Hammamet and get dropped off at your location.
