This 8-day, 7-night tour invites you to discover Tunisia through a sensory journey combining historical heritage and unique culinary flavors. The tour starts and ends at Tunis-Carthage Airport (TUN). It follows the following itinerary: Tunis, Beja, Cape Bon, the Sahel (Sousse/Monastir), Kairouan, El Jem and Sfax.
Your experience begins in Tunis with an immersion in culinary modernity with a refined dinner chosen by a chef. The next day, the road takes you to Béja to explore the Roman remains of Sbeitla and visit an artisanal cheese factory. The third day is dedicated to Cap Bon: you'll discover the ancient site of Utica, the medina of Hammamet, then participate in a harissa-making workshop and a tasting at a winery.
You'll continue to the Sahel to explore the UNESCO-listed medinas of Sousse and Monastir, and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch after a visit to the fish market. The trip continues to Kairouan, a holy city, where you will visit the Great Mosque and enjoy a camel couscous before a makroudh workshop. In El Jem, the imposing Roman amphitheater will precede a traditional barbecue lunch. Finally, in Sfax, you'll immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of its medina and discover the rich local cuisine, including a visit to an olive oil mill and a meal composed of specialties such as charmoula and Sfaxian baklawa.
The tour ends with the return to Tunis, with the possibility of a last stop in Sidi Bou Said to taste a bambalouni. This complete trip, including private transportation, accommodation, and most of the experience meals, offers a perfect balance between cultural visits and interactive taste discoveries.
