Visit the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, a museum of modern and contemporary art that connects cultures, inspires people, and celebrates art from the 1960s to the present.
Explore the museum, which reflects a transcultural approach, moving beyond chronology and geography to highlight artistic lineages, networks, and exchanges. Navigate your own path of discovery through galleries organized around major vectors of art since 1960, such as Abstractions, Popular Culture, Land, Language, and Storytelling.
Admire the building, designed by the late Pritzker Architecture Prize Laureate Frank Gehry, located on Saadiyat Island, at the meeting point of land and sea, and inspired by the architectural forms of the Gulf region.
See the ten sculptural cones that punctuate the building's skyline – nine clad in stainless steel mesh and one in onyx and glass – reaching heights of up to 88 meters and providing natural ventilation and shade.
