If this is your first day in Baku and you don’t know where to start exploring this captivating metropolis, then this tour is for you. We pick you up at the door of your hotel, take you to the city’s most iconic landmarks, and allow you to experience the true essence of Baku through both your soul and your palate. This is not just a sightseeing tour; it is a personal and exclusive journey into the soul of a city.

The first stop on our journey is Highland Park, the highest point in Baku. This is the place where you can enjoy the clearest panoramic views of the city. Right before your eyes will be the curves of the Caspian Sea, the long stretch of Baku Boulevard, and the Flame Towers, which have become the city’s iconic landmarks. As you listen to our guide tell the story of the founding of modern Azerbaijan, you will feel in your bones why Baku is known as the “City of Winds.” The photos you take here are bound to be the most memorable shots of your tour.

After admiring the city from above, we descend to the heart of Baku, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Old City (İçerişehir). Nestled amidst modern skyscrapers, this historic island will transport you back to the 12th century.

Shirvanshahs Palace: As you admire this palace complex, a jewel of Azerbaijani architecture, from the outside, you will witness the splendor of medieval kingdoms.

Maiden Tower: Your guide will tell you the legends of this tower, Baku’s most mysterious structure.

Narrow Streets: As you walk through the labyrinthine cobbled streets, you will come across an art gallery, an antique carpet seller, or a historic mosque around every corner. We will take a short break to soak up the atmosphere in the iconic streets where the famous film “Brilliantovaya Ruka” was shot.

After this journey through history, we will move on to the Seaside Boulevard, the heart of the city’s modern and social life. This area, one of the longest coastal promenades in the world, is a great stop to breathe in the iodized scent of the Caspian Sea. We will stroll along the peaceful canals of “Little Venice” and make an architectural discovery in front of the world-famous Azerbaijan Carpet Museum, known for its roll-carpet-shaped design.

As much as seeing Baku, tasting it is also part of the tour. One of the most enjoyable moments of the tour will be our lunch break at an exclusive local restaurant renowned for its historic ambiance.

After lunch, we recharge our batteries and head towards the futuristic side of Baku. Designed by world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid, the Heydar Aliyev Center is a masterpiece of modern architecture with its flowing, seamless form. Without entering the exhibitions inside the building, we will simply experience the sense of infinity created by its exterior architecture and take fantastic photos.
