Accompanied by your private guide, you will experience the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park by touring the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, Tianzi Mountain, Zhanjiajie Grand Canyon.
In the morning, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby. Head to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
After entering the East Gate, your guide will first escort you to take the Bailong Elevator, the world’s tallest and fastest outdoor sightseeing lift.
Coming out of the elevator, you’ll reach Yuanjiajie Scenic Area. See the Hallelujah Mountain, which was the inspiration for the floating mountain in the sci-fi movie ‘Avatar’, and also the Back Garden, Enchanting Platform, and No.1 Bridge under Heaven.
Lunch today is not included. You are recommended to have a hearty breakfast at hotel and bring along with you some snacks for a simple lunch. There are also fast foods like Dicos available on Yuanjiajie and MacDonald’s on Tianzi Mountain, but they may need to wait for long sometimes.
Let’s take a shuttle bus to Tianzi Mountain, known as “an enlarged bonsai, a minified fairyland”, and a perfect site to see the sea of clouds. Descend the mountain by cable car with guide accompanied.
Next you will experience the Glass Bridge that spans the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. Being actually on it, you could not help but let out a wow when beholding the panoramic view of the canyon and the abyss beneath your feet. Note that Bungee jumping, sightseeing elevator, zipline, and lake cruise are not included in the entrance charge of Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon and tours.
At the end of this tour, you will be escorted back to your hotel.
