Begin your adventure from your hotel in Chengdu. Head west into the stunning highlands of Western Sichuan, home to the breathtaking Siguniang Mountain Scenic Area. This region features snow-covered peaks, including the famous Yaomei Peak (6,250 meters), alongside vast alpine meadows, crystal-clear rivers, and pristine valleys—an ideal destination for hiking and photography.

For a one-day tour, choose between Shuangqiaogou or Changpinggou.

Shuangqiaogou Attractions:

Red Fir Forest
At an altitude of 3,840 meters, this 2-kilometer forest of red firs features a wooden walkway. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of snow-capped mountains and red firs, which is perfect for taking photos. You can also experience playing in the snow.

Potala Peak
With an altitude of 5,428 meters, this is an excellent spot for photography in Shuangqiao Gully. There is a road leading to the snow-capped mountains. On the right side, you will see white pagodas and meadows. The view is vast, and you can feel like you are in the clouds.

Siguniang Lake
At an altitude of 3,588 meters, this lake is believed to be the sacred bathing place of the four sisters. The lake water is crystal clear, and there are only a few trees around it. However, the scenery is breathtaking, and it is suitable for capturing the reflection of the snow-capped mountains. It has a sense of sanctity.

Nianyu Dam
At an altitude of 3,500 meters, this is a popular drift point in Shuangqiao Gully. However, the drift is quite expensive. It is recommended to take the wooden walkway instead. You can walk along the path and enjoy the beautiful scenery of meadows, yaks, streams, and small bridges. This section is known as the "Path of the Soul."

Ren Shen Guo Ping
At an altitude of 3,300 meters, this is the last stop in Shuangqiao Gully. You can lie on the lawn to rest and enjoy the peaceful scene of the stream flowing quietly and yaks grazing. It is a great place to relax and unwind.

Changpinggou Attractions:

Lama Temple
At the entrance of Changping Gully, there is a Lama Temple. It is a Tibetan Buddhist Gelugpa monastery. The temple is filled with the fragrance of incense, and it is a place where you can experience the rich religious culture.

Tangbai Ancient Road
