You will learn a lot about the Bulgarian, Roman, Ottoman traces here as well as the different religions that continue to live peacefully together. The most remarkable buildings and locations of the city are focus of that tour. Visit to Alexander Nevski Cathedral (biggest church in Bulgaria) is a must to begin. Do not forget the eternal flame with the monument of the unknown soldier and the Byzantine basilica of St. Sophia. The national gallery (former Royal palace) and the National Theater are by any means century-old masterpieces of architecture. Enjoy the lovely park and fountain and then pass by the seat of the Presidential administration. Make a short stop by the 4-th century Roman ruins and the church of St. George. The tour will finish at St. Nedelya square where you will see the statue of St. Sophia.
