A Day Trip Guide – Tram + Culture Hall Combo

Start at Canton Tower Tram Station (Metro Line 3/APM, Exit A). Redeem your souvenir pass at Liede Bridge South or Wanshengwei Station from staff in red vests (09:30‑18:00). This pass gives you unlimited rides all day on Haizhu Tram Line 1 – the city's most scenic 7.7‑km waterfront route.

Morning – Tram Sightseeing (2‑3 hrs): Ride from Canton Tower to Wanshengwei. Must-stop spots: Liede Bridge South (iconic cable-stayed bridge, great photos, tram-themed park); Party Pier (former brewery turned trendy dining & music zone); Pazhou Pagoda (Ming-dynasty octagonal pagoda with classical garden); Wanshengwei (transfer to bus 229 for Huangpu Ancient Port – authentic Cantonese street food, or visit Guangzhou Metro Museum). The tram runs 07:30‑22:00 (to Wanshengwei) and 07:30‑22:40 (return). Audio commentary onboard – watch the scenery, especially in spring when flowers bloom along the track.
