Meet your veteran English guide at the fixed meeting point, then follow their footsteps across Tiananmen Square. Wander through this iconic public plaza to admire the grand surrounding landmarks, learning the rich history and captivating behind-the-scenes stories of each building solely from their exteriors—including Tiananmen Rostrum, the Great Hall of the People, the National Museum of China, and the Monument to the People’s Heroes.
After exploring the square, we will proceed straight to the Forbidden City and enter through its main Meridian Gate. The palace complex is extraordinarily vast; a full in-depth self-exploration would require an entire day. Our experienced guide will lead our small group along a streamlined route focused on the site’s most vital highlights: all landmark structures along the central imperial axis, plus the tranquil Imperial Garden.

This is a shared group tour. Late arrivals cannot join the tour and no refunds will be provided.
The tour is fully guided in English and requires plenty of walking; please wear comfortable shoes.
All visitors must carry original valid passports. Full names & passport numbers are needed for real-name reservations. Entry is not permitted without a passport.
Prohibited items: large luggage, big backpacks, glass bottled drinks, drones, tripods, selfie sticks, sharp tools, flammable goods and professional photography gear. Only small handbags are allowed.
Dangerous goods and contraband will be confiscated at security checkpoints before entry.Tiananmen Square serves as both a tourist spot and a core venue for political events. If the square is temporarily closed, we will skip this part of the itinerary. Since access to the square is free of charge, no partial refunds will be issued for this adjustment.
Please allow ample travel time to the meeting point, as taxis can be difficult to find during peak hours.
