Uyuni Salt Flats Full-Day Adventure

Discover the incredible Uyuni Salt Flats on a full-day 4WD adventure through one of Bolivia’s most extraordinary landscapes. Explore historic locomotives, traditional salt workshops, giant cacti, unique salt formations, and the endless white horizon of the Salar before finishing with an unforgettable sunset experience.

Pickup & Tour Preparation

Pickup is coordinated one day before the tour. We offer pickup from hotels within Uyuni city, the Uyuni Bus Station, Todo Turismo office, and Uyuni Airport.

For buses arriving between 6:00–8:00 a.m., please provide your bus company and arrival time. Todo Turismo pickup is between 7:00–8:00 a.m. For flights arriving between 8:00–10:00 a.m., provide your flight number and arrival time. Hotel pickup is at approximately 10:00 a.m.

Depending on your arrival time, our staff may take you to a nearby café where you can relax or have breakfast on your own. Later, continue to our office for check-in, meet your driver and guide, and prepare for the adventure.

Tour Departure – 10:30 a.m.

Depart Uyuni aboard a shared 4WD vehicle and begin at the historic Train Cemetery. Walk among old locomotives and railway remains that reflect Bolivia’s mining and industrial past.

Colchani Village

Continue to Colchani, a traditional community located at the entrance to the salt flats. Learn about local salt-processing techniques and browse handicrafts made from salt, alpaca, and llama wool.

Uyuni Salt Flats

Enter the world’s largest salt flat and travel across its immense white landscape. Visit the Saltwater Eyes, Playa Blanca, Salt Hotel Museum, Flags of the World, and Dakar Monument while discovering some of the Salar’s most iconic landmarks.

Enjoy lunch surrounded by the spectacular scenery before continuing deeper into the salt flats.

Incahuasi Island

Visit Incahuasi Island, famous for its giant cacti and ancient coral formations. Walk along its trails and admire panoramic views across the seemingly endless white horizon.

Creative Photos & Sunset Experience

Take advantage of the unique landscape to capture fun perspective and optical illusion photographs with help from your guide.

As the afternoon ends, enjoy a spectacular sunset over the Uyuni Salt Flats accompanied by wine and chips. Watch the changing colors reflected across the vast landscape before returning to Uyuni at approximately 7:30 p.m., where your full-day adventure comes to an end.
