Day 1 : Arrival in Maun:Transfer to Makgadikgadi & Baobab Bush Walk
Your safari begins with a warm welcome on arrival at Maun Airport, where our representative will meet you and assist with your transfer to the Makgadikgadi region. The drive takes you through changing landscapes, offering a first glimpse of Botswana’s wilderness on your way to the lodge.

After check-in, take some time to relax and freshen up before heading out on your first adventure — a guided Baobab Bush Walk. Accompanied by knowledgeable local guides, you’ll explore the area on foot, learning about the remarkable adaptations of the flora and fauna that thrive in this unique environment. A highlight of the walk is the chance to stand beneath Botswana’s iconic baobab trees, often referred to as the "giants of the African bush," with fascinating stories and cultural legends tied to them.

As the day winds down, settle into a scenic spot overlooking the vast salt pans and enjoy a chilled sundowner drink while watching the sky transform into shades of gold and crimson. The sweeping, endless horizon of the pans at sunset is an unforgettable introduction to the magic of Makgadikgadi.

Return to the lodge in the evening for a hearty dinner, followed by relaxation under the star-studded African sky the perfect start to your safari journey.

Day 2 : Ntwetwe Pan Expedition – Quad Biking, Meerkats & Picnic Breakfast
Wake up to the fresh morning air of the Makgadikgadi and set out early for a full-day Ntwetwe Pan Expedition. After a light start, enjoy a delightful picnic breakfast served out in the wild as the first rays of sunlight illuminate the endless white expanse of the pans.

Your day continues with an unforgettable visit to a colony of meerkats, some of the most charming and curious creatures of the desert. With the guidance of your expert ranger, you’ll get the rare opportunity to observe them up close in their natural habitat, watching as they forage, stand guard, and interact within their tight-knit families. Their playful nature and fearless personalities make this encounter one of the most memorable highlights of Makgadikgadi.

The adventure then shifts gears as you hop onto quad bikes for a thrilling ride across the vast Ntwetwe Pan. The sense of freedom and space is unparalleled as you glide over the salt-crusted surface, experiencing firsthand the sheer scale and silence of this ancient landscape. Along the way, your guide will share stories about the history, geology, and unique ecology of the pans.

Day 3 : Departure
After check-out, you will be transferred back to Maun Airport for your onward journey, carrying with you unforgettable memories of the pans, the meerkats, and the adventure of a lifetime.
