Embark on a multi-day immersion in the Amazon. Explore the waterfalls, caves, and lagoons of Presidente Figueiredo and experience the jungle at a secluded inn on Lake Balbina, with hiking and boating.
This is an experience created for those who want to experience the Amazon in a deep, authentic and unhurried way, combining the exploration of the Amazon rainforest in Presidente Figueiredo with a stay in a secluded jungle inn on an island on Lake Balbina.

Over 2 to 5 days (or more, depending on availability), the itinerary adapts to the number of days chosen: the more days, the greater the level of immersion and the number of activities in the Amazon. It's not a rigid itinerary, but a continuous experience, guided by the rhythm of the forest.

The immersion starts early, with departure from the hotel in Manaus around 6:30 AM. We'll travel about 107 km to Presidente Figueiredo, a region known for its waterfalls, caves, grottos, and natural lagoons in the middle of the Amazon rainforest. On the first day, we'll visit at least four natural attractions before heading to the jungle lodge, located on a secluded island on Lake Balbina.

Once at the lodge, we'll enjoy the late afternoon with canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding, watching the sunset over the lake. At dusk, we'll focus on nocturnal animals during a silent navigation along the shores of the lake.

On the second day, the experience gets even better with a guided ecological trail in the forest. Although short (less than 1 km), the trail can last up to 3 hours, as the focus is on the interpretation of Amazonian fauna and flora, centuries-old trees, rubber trees, medicinal plants, and the possibility of spotting animals. In the afternoon, we'll sail on Lake Balbina and visit the riverside dwellers' homes, getting to know their customs and way of life up close.

On longer itineraries, you can camp in the forest (optional activity), learn basic survival techniques, start a fire, prepare your own food, and sleep in hammocks under a straw cover. You can also experience Amazonian culture in a flour house, following the entire traditional cassava process, with the production of flour, tucupi, and tapioca.

In the following days, depending on the package's duration, we'll explore Lake Balbina more deeply, rest on beach islands, prepare roasted fish in isolated locations, and visit more distant riverside communities, with the possibility of following their daily routine.

We always head back after breakfast, so you can visit new natural attractions in Presidente Figueiredo, like waterfalls and lagoons, before the experience wraps up.
