Cover the long road from Sarajevo to Ljubljana in a private car or van, with two good breaks on the way. Your driver picks you up at your hotel at 08:00 and drives north through Bosnia to Banja Luka, where you stop at the Kastel Fortress on the Vrbas River for a coffee and a short walk.
After the border you continue to Zagreb and spend an hour in the Upper Town: St. Mark's Church with its tiled roof, the Stone Gate and the view from the Strossmayer Promenade.
From Zagreb it is about two hours on the motorway to Ljubljana, where you are dropped at your hotel. The route is about 543 km: around 7.5 hours of driving plus about 1.5 hours at the stops.
