Discover the natural beauty of Montenegro on our Great Canyons Tour, a full-day journey through mountains, canyons, lakes, and historic landmarks.
Our journey starts with a relaxing dinner stop in Bogetići, where you can enjoy local food with a view of the famous Ostrog Monastery. From there, we continue through Nikšić and Šavnik, passing by the impressive Nevidio Canyon.
Next, we arrive in Žabljak and visit the beautiful Black Lake, one of Montenegro’s most famous natural attractions. Take a peaceful walk around the lake, enjoy the fresh mountain air, or, during suitable conditions, take a refreshing swim in its crystal-clear water.
We then continue to the spectacular Tara River Canyon, one of the deepest canyons in Europe. Enjoy a lunch break with beautiful views, take a walk across the famous Đurđevića Tara Bridge, and, if you wish, experience an exciting zipline ride. We will also enjoy a scenic drive through the canyon.
Our next stop is the Morača Monastery, an important cultural and spiritual site surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. After visiting the monastery, we continue through the impressive Morača River Canyon, with time to stop and take photos.
On the way back, we pass through Podgorica and enjoy views of Lake Skadar. We then continue through Cetinje before making a photo stop above Budva, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the town and the Adriatic coast.
