Meet me at Kolbotn train station, just a short ride from Oslo. Follow an easy forest trail with gentle elevation. The path includes some natural terrain — rocks, roots, and uneven sections — but it’s manageable for most people with normal mobility.

Walk along quiet woodland trails and learn about the plants, animals, and how to notice hidden details in the landscape. Understand the forest’s ecology and appreciate how nature has influenced Norwegian culture.

Take a break by a beautiful lake along the way. Enjoy light snacks and a warm beverage as you take in the peaceful atmosphere. If you’re feeling adventurous, take a refreshing dip in the lake (optional and depends on your comfort level and the weather).

End your hike at Solbråtan train station, where you can take a direct train back to Oslo Central Station.
