Ventimiglia — Your first stop in Italy. Stroll through the medieval old town, climb up to the 11th-century Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, and soak up the Italian atmosphere over a real cup of coffee.
Dolceacqua — A village divided into two parts connected by a 15th-century medieval bridge that Claude Monet painted several times. Climb to Doria Castle for panoramic views of the olive groves and taste Rossese, the local red wine.
