Day 1: Kutaisi to Stepantsminda

Begin your journey with a pickup in Kutaisi and head toward Jinvali Reservoir. Visit Ananuri Fortress before climbing the Georgian Military Highway through Gudauri to Stepantsminda.

Day 2: Stepantsminda to Kutaisi

After an overnight stay, dedicate the second day to the surrounding mountain valley. Visit Gergeti Trinity Church, continue toward Dariali Valley and its monastery, and enjoy the quieter hillside setting of Elia Church.

When operating, an optional Kobi–Gudauri cable-car journey offers a completely different view of the high mountain plateau.
