This is not a simple weekend hike; it is a call to those who seek to challenge their body and mind on the Iztaccíhuatl volcano. At 5,220 meters above sea level, "La Mujer Dormida" awaits you to test your endurance, give you glacial landscapes that very few see, and make you feel the immense power of the mountain.

The Ascent Experience
We start at La Joya. As we gain altitude, the vegetation gives way to a landscape of rock, sand, and snow. We'll walk in the early morning under a starry sky, feeling the extreme cold but with our hearts racing. We'll cross Los Portillos, overcoming the incline with technique, patience, and breathing, to reach the 100 Hut.
From there, the push to the summit (El Pecho) is a challenge that demands your energy. The prize is worth it all: watching the sunrise over a sea of clouds, with Popocatépetl exhaling in the distance. A moment of absolute glory that will remain in your memory forever.

Who is this adventure for?
Let's be honest, the mountain commands respect. This route is NOT for sedentary people. It's a demanding expedition designed for those with trekking experience, excellent physical fitness, endurance, and unwavering mental strength. At more than 4,000 meters, oxygen is scarce. If you train and are willing to make an extraordinary effort, this is your time to shine.

The Weather and Your Gear
The conditions are unforgiving. We'll face sub-zero temperatures and freezing winds. The three-layer system is mandatory, along with high-mountain boots, technical gloves, and glacier goggles. We will have a pre-climb session to check your gear; if you don't meet the requirements, for your safety, you won't go up.
