Bökh, which traces its roots to the daily military training of Chinggis Khaan’s army, is one of the Three Manly Sports of Naadam—alongside archery and horse racing.
This self-guided experience gives travelers the rare opportunity to witness powerful wrestlers compete in ceremonial dress, performing ritual eagle dances and dramatic bouts that test strength, skill, and honour. Even outside the Naadam festival season, you can enjoy an authentic, living piece of Mongolian heritage in Ulaanbaatar’s National Wrestling Palace, the country’s only official arena for this iconic sport.

There are two entrances to the National Wrestling Palace: the Main Gate (facing Peace Avenue) and the South Gate (on the opposite side). If the Main Gate is closed for operational or security reasons, please use the South Gate instead.
