From Kathmandu: Phulchoki Guided Hike with Hotel Pickup

Begin your hike with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Kathmandu. Travel 17 kilometers to the Godabari Botanical Garden 1515m, the starting point of your adventure. From here, follow a trail through the forest, gradually ascending to the top of Phulchoki Dada at 2,790 meters above sea level.

After about 2 hours of hiking, enjoy your first glimpses of the Kathmandu Valley and the Himalayas. Continue walking for another 1:30 to 2 hours to reach the summit, where you'll be rewarded with a 360-degree view.

Admire the Kathmandu Valley and the Himalayan panorama, including the Manaslu Range, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Gauri Shanker, and Mt. Everest. To the south, take in the sight of lush green hills.

On the way up, cross the road or follow it at times, with the option to take a rough trail shortcut. Stop at a small tea shop at the top to purchase snacks and hot noodles.

Descend for about 3 hours, taking in the natural beauty of the area. Keep an eye out for birds, wild animals, and diverse plant life along the way.
