Explore the outer complex and observe the main temple and rituals from the eastern bank of the Bagmati River. See the cremation ghats, evening aarti, and sadhus.
Next, head to the Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk clockwise around the stupa, spin the prayer wheels, and dress modestly.
