From here, you’ll board MS Alba, a classic Norwegian catamaran designed for comfortable winter whale watching with spacious heated lounges, panoramic windows, and outdoor viewing decks.
Your crew and expert wildlife guides will navigate toward the winter feeding grounds of orcas and humpback whales, following recent sightings and sea conditions to give you the best chance of encounters. As you travel through Tromsø’s dramatic fjords, you’ll learn about whale behavior, marine ecosystems, and responsible wildlife viewing practices in the Arctic.

Please meet directly at the dock under the Tromsø Bridge, beside The Dock 69°39’ by Scandic Hotel. Our vessel MS Alba will be moored there, and our crew will welcome you on board. There is no reception or indoor check-in area, so boarding takes place directly at the boat. Look for MS Alba and crew wearing Arctic Whale Tours jackets. We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes before departure to ensure a smooth check-in.
