Your 14-hour adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel at 3:00 AM, crossing spectacular high-altitude Andean landscapes on the way to the Colca Valley.
After a hearty Andean breakfast in Chivay, head to the famous La Cruz del Condor to witness the majestic flight of condors over one of the deepest canyons in the world. Then continue to the exclusive Tapay Vantage Point for a broader perspective of the canyon and valley, an experience reserved only for this itinerary.
Along the way, stop at natural vantage points overlooking ancestral agricultural terraces, visit the charming village of Maca with its colonial church, and try an optional Colca Sour. On the way back, pause at the Volcanoes Vantage Point and at the Salinas and Aguada Blanca Nature Reserve to spot wild vicuñas. A full Andean buffet lunch ends the day before returning to Arequipa around 5:00 PM.
