Explore the Scottish Highlands on a day trip from Edinburgh. Hike through Glencoe, swim at Pattick Falls, and stop at the Commando Memorial for views of Ben Nevis.
Set off from Edinburgh and make your way north into the Scottish Highlands. Stop after an hour to see the iconic Highland Coos. Then, continue into the Highlands with some photo stops along the way, maybe to grab a dram for the more adventurous, until you reach the stunning Pattick Falls.
Take a swim, have some brunch, or go for a lovely trek around the area for an hour. After this, make your way to the next photo stop of Commando Memorial, one of the best places to view the largest mountain range, Ben Nevis.
From here, head to the beautiful Caledonian Canal and then towards the breathtaking Glencoe. Spend over an hour here to trek across, discover the full beauty, and make your way back to the bus.
After this, take another extended comfort break for refreshments and reprieve from all the travel. Finally, head back towards Edinburgh, passing some beautiful, historical, and fascinating landmarks along the way.
