On the first day, travel to Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees, seasonal river, and large elephant population. Explore woodland, savannah, and riverine habitats while searching for giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs, lions, leopards, and numerous bird species. During the dry season, wildlife often gathers around the Tarangire River, while the green season offers lush landscapes, migratory birds, and young animals. Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing to your lodge near Karatu.

After breakfast on the second day, travel through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward Serengeti National Park. Admire the highland scenery before descending onto the vast plains of the Serengeti. Begin game viewing as you enter the park and continue toward the Central Serengeti, also known as the Seronera region.

Central Serengeti offers excellent wildlife viewing throughout the year because its rivers and permanent water sources attract a wide variety of animals. Search for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, jackals, and abundant birdlife. Arrive at your tented camp in the late afternoon, enjoy dinner, and spend the night surrounded by the sounds of the wilderness.

Begin the third day with an early breakfast and a morning game drive, when predators and other wildlife are often most active. Explore the Seronera Valley, granite kopjes, open grasslands, and river systems while your guide follows recent animal movements and selects the most productive viewing areas.

In the afternoon, continue your safari as you travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim in time for dinner and a restful night’s sleep.

On the final day, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations. The crater’s diverse habitats support a wide variety of animals, including the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos.

Search for these iconic species, as well as zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, jackals, and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before ascending the rim and returning to Arusha, where your unforgettable safari adventure concludes.
