This walking tour of the historic district celebrates the founding of America and our 250th year! We will visit sites that played a part in the Revolutionary War, visit Colonial Park Cemetery where heroes such as Nathaniel Greene was buried, and discuss events of the 1700s including famous duels and potential pirate activity. Follow Jonita as she incorporates tunes from the times on her fiddle and sometimes guest appearances by other guides and musicians to add to the flavor. This tour is perfect for kids and adults alike and will give an overview of how Georgia played an important part in the founding of America as the 13th colony. Celebrate with Liberty 250! 90 minute walking tour. Wear good shoes and bring water. Starts in Monterey Square at Pulaski Monument. Ends closer to the river, depending on the group.
