Your journey begins early in the morning with departure from Sofia and a scenic drive toward the Pirin Mountains. After arriving at the starting point near Vihren Hut, your certified mountain guide will give a short safety briefing before the hike begins.

The trail gradually ascends through alpine terrain, revealing incredible views of the surrounding Pirin peaks. The highlight of the hike is crossing the famous Koncheto ridge — a narrow mountain ridge with dramatic drops on both sides. A safety cable is installed along the most exposed section and your guide will assist you during the crossing.

Throughout the day you will enjoy stunning panoramic views and learn more about the unique nature and geology of Pirin National Park.

After completing the hike, the group returns to the starting point and travels back to Sofia in the evening.
