Around 11:30 arrive at Gubei Water Town and begin your self-guided exploration after entering the scenic area.

12:00–20:00 enjoy extended free time to explore Gubei Water Town at your own pace. Walk through stone-paved streets, canals, bridges, and traditional-style architecture, and experience the distinctive atmosphere of a northern-style water town. The area combines traditional water town elements with historic-style buildings, creating a layered and immersive environment.
Within Gubei Water Town, you can also access viewpoints related to the Simatai Great Wall area, where you can experience the unique contrast between the Great Wall, surrounding valleys, and the water town landscape. This “water town + Great Wall” combination is one of the key highlights of the destination.

20:00–20:30 meet your guide and begin the return journey to Beijing by coach.
