Begin at the famous Nine Creeks (Jiuxi) trailhead, following a gently winding path through bamboo groves and tea plantations. The route leads you to tea Village, the legendary birthplace of Chinas most prized green tea, where you can pause for a picnic lunch in the tea gardens.
In the afternoon, climb to Shizi Mountain Lookout for panoramic views over Lake and Lingyin Temple in the distance. The trail continues over Wenbi Peak to Five Cloud Mountain, where a 1,400-year-old ginkgo tree stands beside Zhenji Temple. Finish with a peaceful walk through Yunqi Bamboo Path before boarding the bus back to Shanghai.
