Georges Bizet's opera Carmen is one of the most captivating and most frequently performed works in the history of music.

In four acts, the story of the freedom-loving Carmen unfolds, characterized by intense emotions, dangerous love and the harsh aspects of life in the underworld of Seville, Spain, around 1820. Our gala concert will transport you to a world full of passion, longing and inescapable tragedy.

The chamber ensemble of the DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER will perform with vocal soloists under the direction of Prof. Igor Malinovsky on violin. Since its founding in 2013, the Dresdner Residenz Orchester has been captivating audiences across Germany with its virtuoso interplay and distinctive interpretations in a chamber music ensemble.
