Meet your instructor at the Ubatuba Wild Hostel and learn about the culture of surfing in Ubatuba, the Brazilian Surfing Capital, and its lifestyle. Pass on everything your instructor learned during more than 20 years of experience in the sport and surf trips in renowned spots such as California, South Africa, Floripa, Guarda do Embaú World Surfing Reserve, Praia do Rosa, Maresias, Itacaré, Ilha Grande, and Ilha Bela.

Learn about waves, wind, tides, and the positioning of beaches in relation to swells. Get an introduction to boards and accessories and learn techniques for getting on the board, controlling the board on the waves, and safety in the sport.

Head to the beach for a monitored practice at sea. Surf 3 sessions with 1 or 2 five minute break for rest and hydration. Use professional surfboards, a surf shirt with ultraviolet filter, paraffin, sunscreen for water sports, and mineral water for hydration.
