Embark on a challenging winter hike to the 7 Rila Lakes, a magical area covered in snow. Due to heavy snowfalls, expect knee-deep snow, mud, and slippery conditions.

Begin your adventure with a drive to the Rila Lakes ski area. Take a ride on the chairlift up to the Rila Lakes hut. Set off on a hike through the snow-covered landscape, navigating varied terrain and conditions. Gear up with comfortable, waterproof trekking boots and clothes, and a warm layer beneath your jacket.

Though the lakes will be hidden beneath the snow, the area’s winter beauty is enchanting. Enjoy the serene, snowy surroundings as you trek through this magical winter wonderland.

You must be prepared with warm, waterproof trekking boots, comfortable layers, and a warm, waterproof jacket. Wearing the right gear is essential for your safety and comfort.

IMPORTANT:
1. This tour is dependent on the operation of the local ski lifts. If the lift is not running, the tour will be canceled. We reserve the right to cancel the tour up to 24 hours in advance. Please refer to GYG booking conditions for refund policies.
2. This is a demanding trek and requires a high level of fitness and previous experience on snow paths is a MUST.
3. The Lakes will be Hidden: Please note that the Seven Rila Lakes will be completely frozen and covered in snow during this trek.

The meeting point for this tour is at the Vasil Levski Monument - in front of the Embassy of Slovakia. Traventuria's buses are fully branded in most cases. You will receive information about the vehicle and the guide's contact information the night before the activity.
