Begin with hotel pickup in Hangzhou and travel to Wuzhen with your guide. During the journey, learn about the town’s waterways, traditional architecture, and role in Jiangnan culture.

Start your visit in the East Scenic Area. Walk along the canals and old streets, and visit the former residence of Mao Dun, one of modern China’s best-known writers. Along the way, see historic landmarks such as Zhaoming Academy, traditional workshops, the ancient theater, and the old wine distillery.

Continue to the West Scenic Area, located beside the Beijing–Hangzhou Grand Canal. Explore its network of waterways, preserved Ming–Qing buildings, stone bridges, and riverside streets. Take your time to enjoy the slower pace and atmosphere of this historic water town.

In the evening, enjoy free time to choose and pay for dinner at a local restaurant. You can try regional specialties such as braised lamb, smoked bean tea, white fish, Sanbai wine, or Ding Sheng cake.

After dark, see Wuzhen illuminated by warm lights reflecting across the canals, bridges, old trees, and traditional rooftops. After the visit, return to Hangzhou by vehicle and finish the tour with hotel drop-off.
